Topcon to replace RL-SV series lasers

Topcon has revealed that the new rotating laser RL-HV2 will replace the current RL-SV series and will feature a new design and added extras.

Topcon says that the RL-HV series is built for multitasking – jobs where you need a laser for horizontal, vertical, single, or dual slope applications.

The company adds that the lasers can easily be remotely controlled and calibrated from a smartphone using the Laser Manager app.

Laser Manager, the new mobile app, is said to significantly simplify operation and puts many of the most common laser functions directly on the user’s own mobile device, such as setting up position and slope, setting up rotation speed, and different working modes.

Topcon believes that the new self-inspection mode increases the speed of setting up the laser and allows the user to adjust the laser beam on all axis. The Laser Manager App is available free of charge in the Google Play store as well as in the Apple App store.
