Potain MCT 88 on a dam construction site in Tahiti

A topless (flat top) Potain tower crane has been put to work on the south Pacific island of Tahiti.

Owner GLC’s 5 tonne capacity MCT 88, the largest model in the top slewing MCT series, is working on a dam project surrounded by cliffs. It is a modular design with bases, masts, ballast and other components interchangeable with other models in the series. Hook height is up to 47.5 metres.
