Two new Fassi XE loader cranes

Fassi has added F345A xe-dynamic and F345RA xe-dynamic models to its XE series of medium-duty hydraulic loader cranes.

They are rated at 33.4 tonne-metres and the maximum hydraulic outreach with the boom horizontal is 20.5 metres. This reach can be increased to 26.7 m on the version with six telescopic boom sections when combined with an L214 hydraulic extension.

Their weight and dimensions make them suitable for mounting on three axle trucks, the Italian manufacturer said. A good power to weight ratio allows maximum payload retention.

Slewing on the F345A is through 400 degrees (non-continuous) via a rack and pinion while the F345RA has continuous rotation. Both models have the FX500 control system, D850 hydraulic distributor bank, Fassi RCH/RCS radio control and either FSC-S or H stability controls.

A maximum of eight hydraulic extensions can be specified in standard configuration and there are three versions with a short second arm. Jibs are also available.
