Hannover Messe, Germany was the venue for the 2010 IAA Commercial Vehicle tradeshow at which Goldhofer introduced two new semi-low loaders to the market.

The first of these, the STZ-L 3, is intended to the transport of construction equipment. This new lowloader is easily converted from straight to lowbed loading deck to offer a high degree of versatility, says the company. Machines with weights up to 36 tonnes can be carried within a gross length of 16.5 m (54.2 ft). Further, the use of a narrow axle with a lateral loading deck provides a payload centre of gravity that allows heavy vehicle transport without the risk of overloading the tractor. A 5.6 m (18.4 ft) dropdeck that reaches over the length of the axle allows construction equipment with long tracks/wheelbases to be easily loaded.

The STZ-VP 6 is an over-rideable semi-lowloader with pendular axles.
