UCO managing director joins Ramirent

Bjørn Larsen, managing director of Norwegian rental company UCO (Utleiecompagniet AS), has joined Ramirent to lead its Norwegian business and become a member of the group management team.

Mr Larsen replaces Eivind Bøe, who has held the position since 2005 and who announced he will leave Ramirent at the end of January. Mr Larsen was managing director of UCO, which is Skanska Norge's rental business, and was in charge of Skanska Norge's machinery, equipment and cranes.

Before joining UCO Mr Larsen was managing director of Honeywell Fire Systems Nordics between 2004 and 2007 and a retail director at Posten Norge.

In another change to the Ramirent management team, Erik Høi has been appointed senior vice president for Denmark and a member of the management team. Peter Dahlsten, who was senior vice president of both Denmark and Sweden, now focuses on Sweden. Mr Høi has worked at Ramirent since 1986 as managing director of Ramirent Denmark.

The full group management team at Ramirent is now: Magnus Rosén, president and CEO; Kari Aulasmaa, Finland and Europe East; Peter Dahlsten, Sweden; Tomasz Walawender, Europe Central; Erik Høi, Denmark; Bjørn Larsen, Norway; Dino Leistenschneider, sourcing; Mikael Kämpe, group fleet; Jonas Söderkvist, finance; and Franciska Janzon, corporate communications.
