Nationwide Platforms re-paints the Eba stand at York Racecourse

York Racecourse, in the UK, used a 40 m working height Genie boom lift to re-paint its Ebor stand, a UK£20 million development that opened in 2003.

Nationwide Platforms also provided the contractor with a 25 m articulating boom lift to access the lower areas of the stand above obstacles at floor level.

Earlier this year, the stand played host to the four day Ebor Festival, one of the last major meetings of the UK flat racing season.

Work to paint the stand has took place over three months to meet racing deadlines. Richard Miller, Nationwide Platforms executive director, sales and marketing, said, “For the York Racecourse work we’ve helped ensure our client can perform to the best of their ability in keeping the Ebor stand looking its pristine best.”
