Van der Vlist shipped 2,400 tonnes of construction equipment to Algeria late last year

Netherlands-based specialized transport company Van der Vlist shipped 2,400 tonnes of construction equipment to Algeria at the end of 2015.

The company said shipments to Algeria suffered a drop because of changed import legislation. Despite this, however, the company delivered just over 11,000 tonnes of equipment to the country in total in 2015.

Shipments to Algeria are generally part of door-to-door or door-to-port transports. For its clients, Van der Vlist co-ordinates transport to port, export documentation and shipping but also offers terminal handling, custom bonded storage, import, transport to final destination and assembly, all for a fixed price.
