US: MGM Mirage has awarded a US$ 3 billion contract to Perini Building for construction of Project CityCentre in Las Vegas, US. Construction work on the 66 acre (26.7 ha) 4000 room hotel, casino and convention centre complex, located between the Belagio and Monte Carlo casinos, is scheduled to start this summer. Completion is expected in 2009.
