Versalift Ibérica will become the exclusive distributor of Versalift platforms in Spain and Portugal from 1 May.

Versalift Ibérica is a newly formed subsidiary of Talleres Robles, a family owned company specialising in industrial vehicle and truck modifications, including Meiller tippers, rail drive systems, cranes and quick shift systems for trucks.

Versalift Ibérica will assemble and install complete Versalift lift kits from its factory in Léon, Spain as well as handling all after sales service in Spain and Portugal from its 10 service points in Spain.

The company will sell the entire range of access platforms from Versalift, part of Time International, although expects to focus on units mounted on 3.5 tonne GVW vans, chassis and pickups, such as the ETL series.

“We are very pleased to announce the appointment Versalift Ibérica. The company has almost 50 years of experience in the industry and a well-established service network, and we are certain, it is a good fit for Versalift,” said Per Torp, CEO of Time International.

Talleres Robles was founded in 1967 by José Luis Robles and is now run by his sons Juanjo and Diego Robles. Head of sales of the Versalift Ibérica subsidiary will be José Lois De Le Vega Faust, while the company is on the brink of a major factory expansion.
