Wacker and Neuson have signed a memorandum of understanding stating they plan to merge. Head-quartered in Munich, Germany, Wacker had revenues of ∈ 619 million (US$ 823 million) last year, and its product range comprises concrete, compaction, demolition and utility equipment. The Linz, Austria-based Neuson Group's revenues were ∈ 260 million (US$ 346 billion) in 2006. It specialises in compact construction equipment such as mini excavators, compact wheeled loaders, dumpers, telescopic handlers and skid steer loaders.
