Fuel tank manufacturer Western Global has expanded with the acquisition of Australian-headquartered containerised tanks and storage systems producer Transtank.

Western Global said the deal included all Transtank divisions, operating assets, and product lines.

Founded in 2000, Transtank serves a broad customer base of upstream oil & gas, mining, and power generation companies. It operates out of four facilities in Australia and also has regional offices in Canada and South Africa.

“We are excited about the acquisition of Transtank and the continued growth we know it will provide,” said Western Global Rob Critchley CEO.

“The combination of our product portfolios and technical expertise will further strengthen the quality service and efficiency driven, innovative products we supply.”
