To handle the significant weight and complexity of the bridge girder removal, Thackray deployed two 500 US ton (400 tonne) capacity Liebherr LTM 1400-7.1 wheeled mobile cranes, which were designed for extreme precision and heavy-duty lifting, the company said.

The cranes, which were operated by Thackray’s highly skilled team, ensured the structural components were extracted safely, efficiently, and without incident, the company said.
