Yanmar adds new UK dealer network

Johnston Plant Sales has become a new dealer for Yanmar Compact Equipment Europe.

The company, which has worked with Yanmar and its products for more than 15 years, joins the UK dealer network with immediate effect. It will provide operators across the region with a range of machines, including Yanmar’s SV16 mini excavator and zero tail-swing ViO17, which were said to be particularly suitable for rental.

Richard Johnston, director of Johnston Plant Sales, said, “There is real demand for the product range in the West Midlands and we hope to play a key role in gaining stronger market penetration over the coming months. Already, we’re seeing a strong pipeline of enquiries for the cabbed and canopy SV18 models.”

He added, ”Our partnership with Yanmar gives construction professionals in the West Midlands access to a class-leading range of equipment that combines Japanese design with European manufacturing quality.”
