Zero tail swing mini ‘ideal for demolition’

01 March 2017

Doosan has launched the DX10Z zero tail swing mini excavator.

Designed at its engineering centre for Europe, the Middle East and Africa in Dobris, Czech Republic, it is described as ideal for demolition, construction and rental applications.

The DX10Z is compact and easy to transport, offering a width of only 710 mm (28 in) when the tracks and the front blade are fully retracted, allowing the machine to pass through most doors.

In addition, a foldable TOPS (Tip Over Protective Structure) canopy meeting ISO 12117 requirements is standard on the model.

The integral sliding blade extensions eliminate loose parts that require storage space and can be easily lost.  The blade extensions can simply be slid into their inner position to reduce the overall width.

Thanks to the design of the undercarriage, the DX10Z provides excellent lifting capacities for this size of excavator, combined with a maximum digging depth of 1.82 m (6 ft) and a machine weight of 1,176 kg (2,592 lb).
