Zoomlion launches its first hydraulic tower crane

Chinese crane and construction equipment manufacturer Zoomlion has launched its first hydraulic luffing jib tower crane.

The 10 tonne capacity RL165-10 was first shown at a customer event in Changde, China, on 4 February.

It can be used as a luffer or, with the jib horizontal, as a flat top crane. There is one hydraulic cylinder to luff the jib and there is no A-frame sticking up above the jib when it is in flat top mode, the manufacturer said.

The RL165-10 was displayed at the factory in luffing mode and with a tower climbing cage around the mast to increase the height.
