Subaru exhibits SGX Generators at The Rental Show

Manufacturer Subaru has showcased new commercial-grade generators at The Rental Show with large fuel tanks, no-flat tires and large mufflers.
The SGX line, which includes the 3500W output SGX3500, 4900W SGX5000 and the 7500W output SGX7500E are targeted towards anyone from homeowners to professional contractors.
Features include an automatic voltage regulator, a low-oil-level sensor with automatic shutoff to protect the engine from damage, and an easy-to-read fuel gauge.
The largest model, the SGX7500E, boasts a 14hp (10.4kW) EX40 engine and an 8 gallon (36 liter) fuel tank which is said to provide seven hours of operation at the rated load. This SGX7500E also includes an electric starting system with recoil backup.
As well as the new generators, Subaru will display its EX series engines – a four-model line-up ranging from 4.3hp (3.2kW) to 14hp (10.4kW). The engines are said to offer more power, easier starting and quieter operation than same-class competitive engines.
The Rental Show 2016 is the American Rental Association’s 60th annual convention and rental trade show, taking place from 21st to 24th February at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, US.
