In addition to the new name, the company is to use three separate product brands: Instant, Zip–Up and UpRight. The Instant brand, for example, will be used for Instant UpRight's specialist access products for sectors such as aviation, boiler access and custom designs.

John Nevin, Instant UpRight's managing director, said the name change reflected its focus on access towers; “We are experiencing significant growth for the standard tower products, but see a real opportunity in developing every sector of the company's expertise, particularly in the boiler and aviation access markets”.

Instant UpRight has meanwhile become exclusive European distributor for Wolfe Design's Towermatic range of self–erecting access towers. The agreement, which started in September, excludes the UK and Ireland and does not cover the largest of the Towermatic products, the 6 m working height T400.

Instant UpRight will market three models, the T100, T200 and T300, under the brand Instant Towermatic. The T100 is a flat–pack, low–level podium step with platform heights of 0.7 m and 0.95 m; the T200 has three platform heights up to 2.0 m; and the T300 is an access tower with platform heights of 1.0 m, 1.8 m and 3.65 m.
