NFDC recognises individuals who best demonstrate exemplary demolition standards

The winners of the United Kingdom’s 2024 National Federation of Demolition Contractors’ (NFDC) Awards have been revealed, at the association’s annual award ceremony.

NFDC President John Lynch and CEO Duncan Rudall recently welcomed demolition and dismantling contractors to the special event, which was held at The Landmark hotel in London, to “celebrate the individuals who best demonstrate the exemplary standards expected of NFDC members”. 

The NFDC awards, unique in the fact the fact that they recognise demolition and dismantling operatives across all levels - from those just starting out on their career as apprentices right up to experienced managers, went to individuals from companies that included Total Reclaims Demolition, City Demolition Contractors and Tilley & Barrett.

The ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Demolition Industry’ award - the biggest award of the night - was given to John Woodward of C&D Demolition Consultants, in recognition of his dedication to raising standards in demolition throughout his career.
