Wildeck, Germany-based mobile crane service provider H&S Autokran has added a Demag AC 60-3 all terrain crane, produced by Japanese-based manufacturer Tadano, to its fleet. According to Matthias Schug, general manager at H&S Autokran, key reasons behind the purchase were due to the crane’s compact design combined with its 50-metre main boom.

The crane will be operated by Michael Schmidt who, Tadano reports, had the crane on his wish-list. It will mainly be used for industrial assembly jobs and steel construction projects where Schmidt believes its compact design, long boom, and lifting capacity [60 tonne capacity class] will be to his advantage.
