Hy-Brid Lifts’ new ANSI-compliant PS-1930 fits through a standard doorway

Manufacturer Hy-Brid Lifts by Custom Equipment has introduced a new, 19-foot lightweight Pro Series scissor lift that meets the new ANSI A29.20 standards and features the company’s new LeakGuard system.

The 19 ft PS-1930 platform is now the tallest model in the company’s Hy-Brid line and features a new colour scheme that identifies its A92.20 compliant status. This will be rolled out across the manufacturer’s other models as they too are brought in line with the safety standards, which come into force in March of this year.

Primarily designed for both construction and maintenance applications, the PS-1930 features a non-fold-down rails, a working height of 25 ft and, with a capacity of 650 lbs, can carry one person plus materials.

“Everything people love about Hy-Brid Lifts is now available in an even taller machine,” said Terry Dolan, Hy-Brid Lifts president and CEO. “LeakGuard is just one of the features we added to meet customer requests.”

Described as a simpler alternative to diapers and multi-tray systems, the integrated LeakGuard system is said to provide 100% protection from hydraulic fluid leaks and is being made available for the All Pro Series lifts.

Hy-Brid said the compact size and manoeuvrability of the PS-1930 reflected its commitment to helping contractors increase productivity. The lightweight unit, which can fit through standard doors without fold-down rails, weighs just 2000 kg and can be loaded into standard elevator.

In addition, the PS-1930 has been equipped with larger wheels and non-marking tyres, making it the first model rated for both outdoor and indoor use.
