New platform options from JLG

The company has added 6- and 8-foot-long platform options for some of its booms
JLG Industries, Inc. has added 6-foot and 8-foot platform options for most JLG engine-powered boom lifts. The new platforms give both single and multiple occupants additional options to enter or exit.
“We understand that jobsites are constantly changing which can create challenges for navigating boom lifts into position, so having several ways to enter or exit a platform provides added flexibility and safety,” said Bill Dovey, senior product manager, booms, JLG Industries. “Our tri-entry platforms give operators multiple access points when positioned against a building or other structure.”
The platforms include two drop bars and one self-closing gate for entering and exiting, and are available in 72-inch by 36-inch or 96-inch by 36-inch dimensions. Additionally, the platforms can be used in combination with many popular JLG accessories, including the newly released Bolt-On External Fall Arrest System.
The 6-foot and 8-foot tri-entry platforms are available as an aftermarket purchase or on new whole goods orders.
