Under harsh winter conditions the Mammoet team transported the first 26 of 39 modules on the remote and inaccessible island of Sakhalin during 2005. The modules each weigh between 700 and 1,800 tonnes, measure up to 84 m long and needed 356 axle lines of SPMT (Self propelled modular transporter). The 12 km temporary road leads through swamps and ice and includes an 800 m long bridge.

Second

Transporting an Oil Meter Skid from its inland manufacturing location to an accessible port required Collett's team to survey routes, remove street furniture, lay steel plates, have tree surgery done, lift wires, etc. Collett hauled the skid, measuring 18.60 x 6.00 x 5.73 m (LxWxH) and weighing 106 tonnes, on a 5-bed-5 modular trailer in push-pull operation.

Third

In France T.L.W. Transports Leclerc completed the transport of a vessel, measuring 31.90 x 4.60 x 4.91 m (LxWxH) and weighing 93 tonnes, team used from the manufacturer to the final client. The transport required the exact positioning of the modular trailers equipped with turntables and a 6- and a 5-axle line trailer module, in order to negotiate tight corners. The vessel was transferred on to a river barge, shipped to its next port and discharged on to the trailers for final delivery.
