Alimak Hek is working around the clock to fulfil orders made during Bauma in April, with South America being one of the biggest buyers.

On the order book are 20 Alimak SC 45 FC construction hoists for a rental fleet owner in Brazil, says the company. Once the order is completed, the customer will become the third largest hoist fleet owner in Brazil.

Final negotiations are also underway on 35 hoist units for customers in Brazil, Panama, Colombia and Argentina.

Alimak Hek’s stand at Bauma received a high number of visitors from Latin America as the company received enquiries for more than 130 construction hoists from Brazil, Colombia, Panama, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Chile and Uruguay.

Orders were also completed for several Hek TPLs for companies from Germany and Switzerland.

Following the Bauma trade fair, Alimak Hek received several orders for the Hek TPL 500 from customers in Germany. Alimak Hek´s distributor in Saudi Arabia, Al Maymanah For Trading also completed an order for seven Hek TPL 500 units.
