New from Ormig at SAIE 2008 was the 45 tonne capacity electric-powered TME industrial crane.

Gian Paolo Aschero, export manager, said the model was the strongest of its kind on the market. An advantage of an electric crane for indoor work is that it can be used any time, unlike a diesel-powered model, which has to be operated when people are not around.

The first model, on exhibition at the show, has been sold to MB Modena. Future units will also be mainly sold to European countries.

The machine weighs 28 tonnes, making it suitable for transportation by standard truck. This does not include counterweight, which comes in range of options.
