Daemo has introduced the mid range Alicon series of hydraulic breakers at the world's largest construction trade show.

Seventeen models will make up the range, running from the 123 kg (271 lb) 610 for carriers weighing 0.5 to 1.5 tonnes through to the 6800 that weighs 5.900 kg (13.007 lb) for 65 to 120 tonne carriers.

According to Daemo, the new series of breakers include a number of key features, including a two stage stroke valve system, a regeneration valve and an anti blank firing system.

The new breaker series, said Daemo, has been developed as part of the company's ongoing R&D drive to take it into the upper quality end of the breaker market by providing similar features, performance and reliability to European manufactured breaker products.
