Fire brigades in Braunschweig and Hannover, North Germany, have each taken delivery of a Tadano Faun ATF 60-4 all terrain. Contributing to the choice, according to the manufacturer, were the crane's two-engine design, the short set up time made possible by fast outrigger and boom extension, and previous experience supplying cranes for fire brigade applications. Special equipment included integrated 20 tonne recovery winches and, for the first time, the fire-fighting equipment called Monitor, which has a water pumping capacity of 5000 litres/min.
