The first of Ommelift's new range of spider platforms, 2750 RBDJ, has been delivered to Danish Customer, Hjørring Stilladsudlejning and went straight to work.

Following sustained levels of inquiries from its customers for aerial platforms of this type, scaffolding rental company Hjørring Stilladsudlejning has taken the first machine.

Peter Pedersen from Hjørring Stilladsudlejning said that the spider platform was booked out for rental before it was delivered and he expects the demand to continue.

Its first job was to help whitewash the church at Vrejlev Kloster close to the town Vraa in Northern Jutland, Denmark.

The 2750 RBDJ, has a maximum working height of 27.5 m with a
200 kg basket load. The outreach is 15.5 m and a zero tail swing articulating riser gives 10.5 m of up-and-over free clearance - the moveable jib provides a final adjustment. The transit length of the machine is down to 7.5 m; the standard width is 1.5 m but can be reduced to 1.1 m.

Manual leveling stabilisers allows the machine to be used on uneven levels up to 40%. Gradeability is 35% and combined with the non-skid crawler belts the platform can be used on most terrains.
