Luke Webber has been appointed as Genie's new senior compliance and applications engineer

Luke Webber, who has been with Genie Industries since 1999 as a mechanical engineer, has been appointed to the new position of senior compliance and applications engineer.

Webber will provide direct customer product compliance in his new position and also application support for the entire Genie product line.

"Luke's extensive knowledge of all Genie aerial work platforms division products coupled with his design engineering background make him a natural fit for this position," says Genie engineering standards manager Allen Luft. "Luke is very customer oriented and will be able to quickly resolve or route requests and questions to the right place within the organization."

Webber will work with the Genie aftermarket support team, engineering, product management and product safety groups in relation to governing standards, modifications to machinery and special product application questions.

Webber is a native of Oregon, having obtained a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering for Oregon State University. Working with Genie, he is responsible for the portable line from 2006 to present.
