Howard screening buckets now on offer

Howard Equipment is to introduce five screening bucket models to join its already available crushing bucket line, three of which are for use on compact excavators and two for compact loaders. The HSB-30, HSB-50 and HSB-80 are intended for use with excavators weighing from 2.5 to 8 tonnes, while the HSB-ML is for use on mini-loaders and the HSB-SS is for skid steers. A sixth model, set for introduction in spring 2012, will be called the HSB-LL that will suit medium sized machines such as backhoes and telehandlers.

The new attachments follow the same hydraulic principles as the company's crusher buckers - a single acting hammer line from the carrier, eliminating the need for extra hydraulic circuits to be fitted to the carrier and allowing the attachments to be switched from machine to machine with no additional expense. They also feature fully sealed bearing units that, together with a carbon belt chain drive system in a fully sealed chain box, are protected from the effects of dust and grit during use.
