JLG Industries, Inc. has expanded its Ultra Series boom lift line with the addition of its new 1500SJ self-propelled, telescopic boom lift. The 1500SJ features a 150-foot telescopic boom and a telescopic jib that extends up to 25 feet for additional vertical and horizontal reach.

The boom has a new graphic LCD display, manual and automatic modes, automatically extending axles, dual capacity (1,000/500 pounds), three steering modes, a 40 percent grade, steel hood and a 53-gallon fuel tank. According to JLG, the unit is the big brother to the company's 1350SJP telescopic Ultra Series boom lift and the 15000SJ requires only a weight permit to transport.

The unit will be ready for shipping in March/April and will be unveiled to the public at ConExpo March 22-26 in Las Vegas.
