Managers take MEWP training at Riwal

Riwal has committed to a range of International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) safety initiatives.

It will see all Riwal managers, including executive board members, region directors and country managers taking the IPAF PAL Card training course for operators and the MEWP’s for Managers course.

The announcement follows a speech by Tim Whiteman, IPAF CEO, at Riwal’s international management meeting last month.

Riwal will also expand IPAF training courses into other parts of the Group and will support IPAF’s accident database by logging any future accident on to it.

Riwal’s CEO Norty Turner said safety starts at the top. “At Riwal our business is founded upon safety. It is an absolute critical element in everything we do. We were very pleased to have Tim Whiteman at our international management meeting, and we confirm our commitment to IPAF’s safety initiatives.”
