New Konecranes XN electric chain hoist

The new XN electric chain hoist from Konecranes is for light to medium hoisting applications.

Models are available in capacities between 125 and 5,000 kg. Standard lift height is 3 m and others are available. It can have a manual or electric trolley with one- or two-speed hoist.

For smoother lifting the there are five- and six-pocket chain wheels that are heat-treated and ground to close tolerance. The load chain is electro-zinc plated and heat treated.

Other features include disc brakes and optional upper and lower limit switches. A friction type torque limiter is integrated with the brake on models XN1 to XN10 to ensure that the load is stopped when the control button is released, even if the torque limiter slips.

To save weight the body of the hoist is pressure cast aluminium and it has ribs to help dissipate heat.

Versions include hook suspended fixed hoist, push trolley or motorised trolley with with single, double or fully variable trolley travel designed to be used on I-beam or profile beam sections.

XN hoists have two-year warranty.
