Merlo has previewed the 4000 kg P25.6 telehandler, calling it "super compact". It is 1800 mm wide, a width first seen from the Italian company in the P20.6 SC of the early 90's.

A 50 kW diesel engine gives the P25.6 a maximum lift capability of 2500 kg to a height of 6 m. Merlo's permanent four-wheel-drive, hydrostatic drive system provides a maximum road speed of 30 km/hr, and the new machine has three-mode steering.

Merlo's standard, 995 mm wide cab is the most obvious visual feature of the newest machine to join the company's Panoramic line. Overall length is 3690 mm and the P25.6 model's height is 1920 mm.

The machine has an inching feature for precise positioning, a hydraulic power take off, two auxiliary hydraulic services, and an optional three-point rear linkage with 2500 kg capacity.
