Shoreham Port on the south coast of the UK has taken delivery of a new Sennebogen 880 M ‘special’ port material handler, increasing its fleet to five units.

Ian Hassell, managing director at dealer, EH Hassell and Sons, said, “We are very proud of our 10-year relationship with Shoreham Port. The supply of this new machine is further proof that we provide Shoreham Port with the perfect solution for their special requirements and application, helping to support their continued growth.”

The Sennebogen 880 M has a 26 metre straight boom, four-axle wide-gauge mobile undercarriage, 2 m pylon, a port cab with an additional trainer’s seat, special marine paint, cylinder protection and quick release coupler with built in rotator.

Robert Aumüller, sales manager northern Europe for Sennebogen, said, “Everyone within Sennebogen is aware of Shoreham Port and our continued relationship. Along with our dealer, EH Hassell and Sons, we project managed the new machine from the initial discussions through to delivery on site.”

Sennebogen port material handlers have been used at Shoreham Port for almost 10 years. The five units at the port are two 870 M specials, one 880 EQ and two 880 M specials.
