AFI wins top safety award

ROSPA 2023 Gold Medal Award

Rental group AFI has won the landmark RoSPA Gold Medal in the construction category, presented to organisations which has achieved five to nine consecutive Gold Awards.

AFI first won the Gold Medal in 2019 from RoSPA, the UK’s largest occupational health and safety awards programme, following five consecutive Gold Awards wins.

The RoSPA Awards scheme, which receives almost 2,000 entries from organisations worldwide, recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

Ian Price, HSEQ manager, AFI Group Services,”We are delighted to have been awarded the prestigious RoSPA Gold Medal again as a result of achieving the Gold Award for the ninth consecutive year. The Gold Medal Award is a testament to the hard work of our people and our commitment to achieve consistent excellence in the practice of health and safety.”

Julia Small, RoSPA’s achievements director, added, “Accidents at work and work-related ill health don’t just have huge financial implications or cause major disruption – they significantly impact an individual’s quality of life. That’s why good safety performance deserves to be recognised and rewarded. We are thrilled that AFI has won a RoSPA Award and would like to congratulate them on showing an unwavering commitment to keeping their employees, clients and customers safe from accidental harm and injury.”
