Planet Platforms in West Yorkshire, UK, has developed an interesting safety product to provide safe access to the roofs of temporary buildings such as portable accommodation units. SAFEPost, developed in conjunction with UK rental company Hewden, is a portable anchorage system assembled at ground level and then fixed to the jack legs of portable buildings and containers. The system, comprising two or three (for double stacked containers) assemblies, provides a tethering point to attach an inertia safety harness.
