Allmand Bros' new products includes the Maxi-Air 185 generator

Portable equipment manufacturer Allmand Bros will expand its product range, offering compressors and generators, the company has announced.

The company – which was acquired by engine manufacturer Briggs & Stratton in a US$62 million (€58.15 million) cash deal in 2014 – will exhibit both its new products at The Rental Show in Orlando, US.

The products include the MA185 and MA400 Maxi-Air portable air compressors, which are said to offer consistent, high-pressure air volumes at low RPMs, enhancing fuel efficiency. Meanwhile, the Maxi-Power generator line is launching with seven high-performance, easily manoeuvrable generators, which offer an output from 25 to 150kVa.

Brian Northway, Allmand product manager, said, “Allmand is focused on providing reliable, high-quality products to help our customers manage their jobsites.

“With the Maxi-Air and Maxi-Power, we're expanding our presence in the construction, rental, oil, gas and mining markets – areas where Allmand already maintains an excellent reputation for durable, easy-to-maintain products.”
