AUSA to extend telehandler range at Smopyc exhibition
29 March 2011
AUSA will expand its Taurulift range of telehandlers at the Smopyc exhibition in Zaragoza, Spain, with the launch of two new models.
The new handlers are the compact, 1350 kg payload T 144 H and the 3000 kg rated T 307 H, which will be the largest Taurulift model yet launched.
The T 144 H has a lifting height of 3.99 m with a maximum load of 1350 kg. It can carry 550 kg at a maximum outreach of 2.18 m. Like the other models in the Taurulift range, it is a compact machine, with a turning circle of 2.93 m. Power is provided by a Kubota V-1505 engine and the unit uses a Rexroth hydrostatic transmission.
The T 307 H will carry 3 t to a height of 7 m and its maximum outreach is 3.98 m, at which point its maximum carrying capacity is 1000 kg. This represents an extra 1 m lifting height and 0.57 m outreach over its smaller brother, the T 306 H. The machine has a Kubota V-3600-T engine and a two-speed Rexroth hydrostatic transmission.
The addition of the two models brings to six the total number of Taurulift handlers, spanning payloads of 1300 to 3000 kg.
The Smopyc exhibition, taking place in Zaragoza on 5 - 9 April, is held every three years and is the largest construction event in Spain. In 2008 it attracted more than 100000 visitors and 2000 exhibitors.
Since then, the Spanish economy has been hit by a severe and prolonged recession, and the number of exhibitors at this year's show has dropped to nearer 1100 companies.
