Designed to provide sites with a mobile energy storage system for the energy supply of construction sites, the LPO is described as an “efficient solution” for machines with a “wide range of power and load peaks.”

The system, which is expected to be available in 2024, enables machines and equipment to be operated or charged locally with constant power output of up to 120 kW.

It can be charged at up to 32 Amps and can power multiple machines at the same time. It can also be used as an isolated grid supply for sites that have none available, or as a supplement for grids that are insufficient.

Liebherr say that the LPO will help to keep all-electric and hybrid construction machines powered with emissions-free power.

In the lead up to Bauma, KHL is providing the latest news surrounding the show, including product launches and event announcements. Read more here.
