Ireland-based crane rental company Bill Cussen and Sons (BCS) used a Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 wheeled mobile telescopic crane to load a Boeing 767 aircraft at Shannon Airport in County Clare, Ireland, at the end of April.

Rigging for the unusual cargo included MOD 50, MOD 70 and larger spreader beams from Modulift.

The aircraft was loaded onto a new 5-axle Nooteboom extendible platform trailer coupled to a 4-axle Scania heavy haul tractor unit supplied by Whitten Heavy Haulage, also based in Ireland.

The cargo was transported to Enniscrone in County Sligo to its new home at a holiday park.
