The US-based company was recently audited by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The ISO examined and assessed the company’s customer services and management processes, to ensure it meets the needs of its customers and stakeholders.

Scott Cannon, CEO of BigRentz, said, “I’m incredibly proud of this achievement for our company and of the hard work of our team.

“The commitment and discipline required to achieve and maintain ISO Certification are qualities we regard highly in our company culture.”

Recognising customer experience as key to quality assurance, BigRentz recently updated its website and carried out “frequent customer surveying, including Net Promoter Score polling”, to monitor its performance.

To maintain ISO certification, companies must continually meet and improve their business and operational standards, which are assessed via annual audits by the ISO.

Liz Faruzzi, Senior Vice President of Operations Excellence, said, “The ISO 9001 journey will help us to ensure that customers get consistent, top-notch service, and will help us stay vigilant about the process and outcomes.

“It also provides us with an opportunity to engage our front-line team in a different way, increasing engagement in our policy on quality.”
