The company said it intends to extend its crane services for mobile and tower cranes in the centre and west regions of the country.

“The primary goal of our expansion strategy is to maintain close relationships with our customers all over Germany and Europe. The expansion of BKL Center/West is the next logical step,” said Jörg Hegestweiler, managing director at BKL.

The new 6,000 square metre facility near Aschaffenburg will offer BKL customers the full range of services for their crane projects.

Its fleet includes mobile cranes from 30 to 700 tonnes, mobile construction cranes from MK 88 to MK 140, loader cranes and trucks, along with self-erecting and top-slewing cranes from 13 to 1050 tonne-metres.

The new office will open on March 15 2023.

Founded by Jürgen Volz in 1969, the family-owned company has over 50 years of experience and will soon employ roughly 330 staff at its seven locations in Germany.
