BMW takes GGR Galizia pick and carry

The plant produces all BMW's four-cylinder petrol engines. The crane will be used for production maintenance and removal of the mounting block in the machining units. The G20's compact size meant that it was the best machine for the job, due to the confined working areas in the production line, said Graeme Riley, CEO at GGR.
GGR Galizia, part of the GGR Group, was launched in the last 12 months and offers a range of pick and carry cranes.
"With a choice of diesel engines or battery powered motors and no outrigger requirement, pick and carry cranes can move quickly around site in workshops, factories, aircraft hangers, or in outdoor environments, such as marinas and docks," added Riley.
