Sandvik's BR 2577.

The BR2577 is the latest Sandvik breaker and is the second to be developed under Sandvik's new ‘flexible' design concept. It is intended for carriers in the popular 23-28 tonne range. Weighing in at 1,700 kg (3,750 lb), the new breaker has a blow rate from 450 to 750 blows per minute and operates at 135-145 bar (1,950-2,100 psi).
Options available from the factory or for field retrofit on the 2577 include a hydraulic safety valve to protect the hammer from hydraulic spikes from the carrier, idle blow protector, soft blow sensor, automatic lubrication systems, Ramdata log systems, Ramona monitoring system, heavy duty housing reinforcement, bronze tool bushing and the VIDAT system that ensures optimum running costs.
