Cemex announces new senior management structure

Following the appointment of Fernando Gonzalez as CEO and Rogelio Zambrano as chairman of Cemex, the company has announced a string of further executive appointments. The changes come following the sudden death of long-standing chairman & CEO, Lorenzo Zambrano.
The company has organised its corporate and staff functions into six divisions, each under and executive vice president. The new appointments are Jose Antonio Gonzalez as executive vice president of finance (CFO), Maher Al-Haffar, as executive vice president of investor relations, corporate communications and public affairs, Ramiro Villarreal as executive vice president of legal affairs and Mauricio Doehner as executive vice president of corporate affairs and enterprise risk management.
Meanwhile, Juan Pablo San Agustin continues as executive vice president of strategic planning and Business Development, and Luis Hernandez continues as executive vice president of organisation and human resources.
The company’s six regional presidencies remain unchanged, with these executives continuing to report directly to the CEO.
