Distributor of lifting products and services, Certex UK has received further accreditation from the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA), with the certification of three of its training personnel.

Mark Hoggard, Certex training manager, and two of the company’s trainers, Hugh Donachie and Charles Gillespie, have been accredited as competent trainers by LEEA. The three trainers each had to deliver a presentation on aspects of the company’s training courses, followed by examination by Kevin Crilly, senior technical officer at LEEA.

Three Certex training courses – a two-day lifting gear examination course and its LOLER and PUWER courses – are also accredited by the LEEA. The company hopes to have a further four courses accredited by the industry body by the end of 2012.
