CICB and Bishop form training alliance

Crane Inspection & Certification Bureau (CICB) has formed a training alliance with Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. in the US to offer training courses in Houston, Texas and on-site training at customer facilities.

CICB has moved its Houston-based training centre to the Bishop Lifting Products facility at 125 McCarty Street in Houston. Scheduled courses will be offered at the BLP facility and will be taught by CICB instructors.

Material handling and lifting training courses will be available for operators, riggers, inspectors, safety management teams and trainers. NCCCO preparatory training with written and practical examinations will also be offered.

All courses scheduled at the training centre, including the NCCCO training and testing programme, may also be offered as on-site training programmes at a customers' facilities. CICB and BLP will also offer third-party equipment inspections.
