Coming together for materal handlers

Delmenhorst, Germany, based Atlas Maschinen GmbH has formed a strategic partnership with Finnish company Mantsinen Group Ltd Oy, based in Vlämylly, that includes technical and R&D cooperation aimed at enhancing and completing the ranges of material handlers produced by both companies. Both companies will continue the sale of their equipment through their existing distribution networks.

Fil Filipov, owner and chairman of Atlas Maschinen, said of the deal: “This is a natural fit for our business on many levels. Our existing customers have increasing needs for larger high quality material handling machines, and there’s a further fit with our engineers and the technology the Mantsinen equipment utilizes. The concept of Mantsinen hydraulic material handlers is perfect for the needs of our customers. It offers a viable, quick and cost-effective alternative to traditional mobile cranes with rope. In addition, this co-operation strengthens further also our offering of electric powered machines.”

Mantinsen managing director Martti Toivanen said of the deal: “We are delighted to have this co-operation with Atlas. Its knowledge, presence and reputation in the machinery industry are impressive, as is the control over their design, R&D and manufacturing. This co-operation expands our product offering of small material handling machines for our customers. We look forward to have a long and successful co-operation.”
