Discover Battery expands Europe team

Canada-based Discover Battery is strengthening its international operations with the addition of two experienced team members in Europe.

Lucjan Bogdan

Lucjan Bogdan will handle sales in Poland and Eastern Europe. He has more than 15 years experience in aftermarket distribution and support, particularly with Motive Power equipment. Bogdan specialises in providing advice about maintenance-free battery solutions for aerial work platforms, material handling and floor cleaning machines.

Stefan Mitrea will focus on technical sales across Southern Europe, including Turkey. Based in Spain, he has worked in the motive power industry for 20 years.

Mitrea has spent more than 10 years with a leading customer technical services team within the aerial work platform market, training machine technicians and operators for leading lift and other equipment manufacturers. Additionally, he will sell service solutions for MEWPs and telehandlers.

“These appointments further strengthen our expanding European operation. Over the past 12 months we have appointed several new service suppliers, covering now more than ten countries,” said Jimmy Au, Discover Battery vice president product and business development.

“The addition of Lucjan and Stefan shows our continued commitment to invest in our European operation and provide increased levels of customer and technical support.”
