SafeWorks, owner of Spider, Power Climber and Power Climber Wind, has appointed Vishnu Irigireddy as vice president of global engineering. He will be based at the corporate headquarters in Seattle and will report directly to SafeWorks’ CEO Scott Farrell.

Mr Irigireddy is responsible for all product-related engineering functions including new product innovation and development, technology roadmapping, and management of intellectual property. He brings more than 16 years of senior leadership experience in engineering and strategic growth, most recently serving as director of global R&D at Apex Tool Group where he accelerated corporate growth through acquisitions and new product development.

“Vishnu has extensive experience in developing and launching new products and streamlining engineering processes as well as a refined talent for anticipating customers’ needs,” commented Mr Farrell. “With his talent, high energy, and track record of accomplishments, SafeWorks has a prime opportunity to further develop our industry-leading global engineering team.”
